The model
Built around a clear purpose.
The Young Workhorse gives players everything they need and nothing they do not. Its red spruce top is normally paired with Honduran mahogany back and sides for a strong fundamental, quick response and traditional voice.
Compared with a rosewood guitar, the Workhorse is generally punchier and carries fewer overtones. Those qualities can make it an especially effective lead instrument. Style 18 dreadnought builds begin at $11,000, with other body shapes available to discuss.
